History Of Vault
When Mark Oldman and brothers Hussam Hamadeh ("Sam") and Samer Hamadeh joined forces to create Vault (formerly Vault Reports) in 1996, they had one thing in mind: avoid the rat race by writing about it. With eight academic degrees between them, all three founders had spent the better part of their 20's accumulating the credentials that would lead them to high-paying positions on Wall Street or in law firms.

Samer, Hussam and Mark saw an opportunity. Instead of joining the big-name employers, they created a company dedicated to revealing what life is like at the nation's top companies and industries. Until then, the only way to learn about a prospective employer was to undertake a painstaking analysis of glossy, surface-based company recruitment brochures. Applying a journalistic "insider" approach, the three co-founders developed Vault's extensive library of company and industry profiles. The profiles reveal information about major corporations and law firms, including current company activities, work environments, and secrets on curveball interview questions and tactics. These original insider reports would prove to be the first of many innovative products designed to give job seekers, HR professionals, and hiring managers the inside edge on career and employee management.
